Find your niche in the business of quilting, make and sell quilted accessories
If you want to start a quilting business, but do not want real quilts, what about quilting accessories for sale?
upholstery accessories include a wide range of products: home dr, clothing, pet accessories … and more!
At home d? Category R, your company can make and sell quilted potholders and matching aprons with pockets that coordinate with handle pattern. You could do and selling padded gloves.
Table runners and mantel drapes are also popular quilted items for the home. quilted placemats and coasters are also ideas.
For a living room, living room, bedroom, dining room or kitchen quilted wall hangings are popular. These can be custom made to coordinate with their own interior colors for your client and style.
For a room or bathroom, why not duvet covers for a tissue box or photo or mirror frame? padded covers are also good sellers.
Take the idea of home d? R on a smaller scale and perhaps their business might quilting padded elements taken dollhouses. The pet niche can be as fun. People of all ages love to buy things for your pets. For cats and dogs padded cases are good sellers. Pet beds are another top item.
Pet clothing is also very popular. Small dogs generally need the extra warmth of a coat in winter. Padded coats, jackets and shawls are good sellers of pet clothing. Create a package by including layer padding or a jacket with a matching quilted hat.
No matter where you choose, any of these areas offer great sales opportunities for your business quilting itself.
